20T Biomass Gasifier Docking Steam Boiler in Vietnam
One of our customers from Vietnam owns a food processing plant. In order to optimise the energy structure and save energy cost, the customer decided to renovate its original 20T coal-fired steam boiler and upgrade it to biomass gasifier. As the structure of the existing boiler is not suitable for the direct retrofit of biomass gasifier, Haiqi team decided to redesign a boiler suitable for biomass gasifier and undertake the design and implementation of the whole project.
Project Overview
Project Name | 20T Biomass Gasifier Docking Steam Boiler |
Project Location | Vietnam |
Capacity | 20T Biomass Gasifier (12 Million kcal) |
Time | 2023 |
Customer's Requirement
1. Our customer wants to convert the existing coal-fired steam boiler into biomass gasifier to meet the environmental requirements;
2. Raw material is bamboo flakes with a daily consumption of about 120 tonnes and an annual running time of more than 7,500 hours;
3. The steam output needs to be stable at more than 18 tonnes to meet the production demand of the factory.
Project Design
Biomass gasifier: Adopting pyrolysis technology under anoxic environment, the wood chips (bamboo chips) are converted into combustible gas (CO, CH4, H2, CmHn, etc.) with a calorific value of between 1000-1300kcal; the pyrolysis of the wood chips also produces charcoal, which is discharged through the automatic slagging system at the bottom of the gasifier;
Boiler design: According to the characteristics of the biomass gasifier, the boiler size and structure are redesigned to ensure the match with the gasifier;
Burner design: Special burner is designed so that the cocoa gas can be burned efficiently and stably, and enter the steam boiler to produce steam for the customer's factory;
Tail gas treatment system: Adopting cloth bag dust removal technology to ensure that the tail gas emission meets the standard.
